Safe and Supportive School Community

ReGen creates a structured learning environment where students and families feel safe, valued, and welcome.

Our schools are small so that every child is known. We communicate routines so that children always know what’s expected of them. We create the space for academic rigor and provide a safe community for children to thrive. No fear, no bullying, a kid can be just that - a kid! At ReGeneration Schools, we create a scholarly atmosphere. Students learn to listen and communicate with each other and teachers to promote vibrant discussion and dialogue.

College Prep

Beginning in kindergarten, ReGen students learn the skills needed for success in college and life.

We believe that every child should have high-quality, college-prep learning opportunities. A typical day at ReGeneration Schools includes reading, writing, math, science, and/or social studies, along with physical education or an art class and time for extra help.

Caring and Committed Teachers

Caring and committed teachers support and challenge students so they will go on to change the world.

We know that without great teachers and leaders, nothing else matters. Teachers bring deep content knowledge and work hard to ensure each and every student achieves. Our teachers and leaders receive support and development from seasoned educators that deliver some of the best training from around the country and the globe. Feedback is an investment in capacity, and we strategically incorporate this into daily practice.

Challenging and Well Rounded Curriculum

Students are challenged by rigorous college-prep coursework that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our students read a rich range of literature that beautifully mirrors their own identities, while also opening windows into other perspectives – from Number the Stars to The Watsons Go to Birmingham to Shakespeare. Scholars have sophisticated classroom discussions, where even kindergarteners learn to respectfully disagree with another student’s answer and to provide a helpful prompt to classmates.

Core Values

ReGen helps students develop the content of their character by teaching values like compassion, respect, and integrity.

ReGen students hold themselves and others accountable for adhering to and reflecting on the values in class, and learn the valuable skill of giving and receiving feedback. Students ask the question ”how did we do on our virtues today?” daily as a way to improve on and discuss the core values. Students learn to support each other and overcome any challenge that they may meet on the path to a college graduation.
