Angela Montagna

Angela Montagna is a strategic leader in organizational management, external affairs, and education reform. With nearly two decades of experience, she specializes in executive leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic initiatives and external affairs to drive organizational growth and impact.

As Chief of Staff at ReGeneration Schools, Angela strengthens external partnerships, oversees data management, guides ReGen's executive team, and leads internal and external branding efforts. She ensures strategic alignment across the organization to enhance student outcomes and institutional effectiveness.

Previously, Angela served as Vice President at Larson Communications, where she led high-stakes communications and crisis management for education organizations nationwide. She has extensive experience in media strategy, advocacy campaigns, and executive coaching, helping school leaders navigate complex challenges and strengthen their public positioning.

Her background includes senior external affairs roles at education nonprofits and charter networks, including Noble Schools and KIPP Chicago, where she spearheaded multimillion-dollar fundraising efforts, cultivated key donor and board relationships, and managed large-scale rebranding and strategic planning initiatives. 

Angela holds a Master’s of Public Affairs from Indiana University, a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Michigan, and a Certificate of Fundraising Management from The Fundraising School.
