As the Chief Operations Officer at ReGeneration Schools, Lori leads a dedicated team of operations, technology, and human resources professionals. Together, they build systems that eliminate operational barriers to learning, ensuring students and educators can focus on achieving academic success.

A proud South Side Chicago native, Lori brings over 25 years of experience in education, with a deep passion for serving diverse learners. Her journey began in the Chicago Park District’s special recreation program, sparking her commitment to inclusive education. She earned a degree in Special Education from Loyola University Chicago and began her career supporting students with learning and emotional disabilities at a therapeutic day school, first as a special education teacher and later as an Academic Coordinator. She later earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.

In 2005, Lori joined CICS Basil as a Special Education Case Manager and Student Services Team Leader, eventually expanding her impact as the Network Regional Director of Student Services. In this role, she forged strong connections to issues of educational equity and school choice, particularly in Chicago’s West Englewood community. Her leadership led her back to Basil in 2011 as Assistant Principal before transitioning into operations as Director of Operations. Recognized for her commitment to operational excellence, Lori was promoted to Chief Operations Officer at ReGeneration Schools in 2018.

With a steadfast dedication to creating high-quality learning environments, Lori continues to champion systems that support both student success and educational equity.
