Martine Louisma

For the past eighteen years, Martine has been dedicated to serving children, parents and community members. After serving a two year commitment with Teach for America as a 1st grade teacher in St. Louis, MO, Martine continued her career as a classroom teacher for an additional eight years as a middle school math teacher in both St. Louis and Brooklyn, NY. After teaching for ten years, Martine pursued a career in education leadership and fully immersed herself in supporting teachers to effectively serve children. While working as a school leader for the last eight years, she has had the opportunity to mentor and coach skilled teachers. Martine is excited for the opportunity to be back in her hometown of Chicago and continue to help teachers realize their vision for students by developing reflective practice and an openness to investment in collective development.
