Stacey Harvey
Stacey Harvey is the Chief Executive Officer of ReGeneration Schools, a nonprofit network of K-8 public charter schools dedicated to preparing students for college and cultivating strong character. Under her leadership, ReGeneration’s Chicago campuses surged from the bottom 17% of Illinois schools to the top 39% statewide, with all three Chicago campuses ranking in the top ten among Illinois charter schools. Today, ReGeneration serves more than 2,000 students across nine campuses in Cincinnati and Chicago.
Before joining ReGeneration, Stacey was a principal at Uncommon Schools, where she founded Rochester Prep. That network, now comprising five schools, serves 1,600 students in upstate New York. Stacey holds a B.A. from Hampton University, an M.A. in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.A. in Administration from Pace University. An alumna of Teach For America, her work in urban education has been highlighted in Doug Lemov’s Teach Like a Champion and Paul Bambrick-Santoyo’s Driven by Data, Leverage Leadership, and Get Better Faster.
