The Ideal School for My Child: Touche Taylor, ReGen Bond Hill
My search for a kindergarten for my daughter Khari began when she was young as I was determined to find the right match for her bubbly, bright personality. A friend told me about ReGeneration Bond Hill, and when I did research online, I liked what I saw- kids in uniforms, teachers engaged- and a focus on preparing all students for college. When I toured ReGen Bond Hill, the school more than surpassed my expectations. The classrooms, named after different colleges, were full of colorful projects and the students moved through the hallways in a calm and orderly manner.
Once Khari started kindergarten at ReGen Bond Hill, she fell in love with the school because her teachers made a personal connection to her love of dance and her strong social skills. Khari is my baby and it is important that the adults at ReGen Bond Hill appreciate and acknowledge what makes her unique.
In addition to the strong academic environment at ReGen Bond Hill, I am grateful for how the school is responsive to parent concerns. If I have questions about Khari’s schoolwork, I can text her teacher and I know I will get a timely response. At ReGen Bond Hill, staff and teachers go the extra mile for students and families.
Since last spring, Khari has been learning online, which is not easy for a first grader, but ReGen Bond Hill teachers are making it work. Her day starts each morning with a fun school activity, then Khari is with her teacher on Zoom until the afternoon and she ends the day with independent work. When I come home, Khari is always excited to tell me about what she learned at school that day.
For me and Khari, ReGeneration Bond Hill is not just a school, it is a family. I’m glad I was able to make this choice for her and I know we’ll be with ReGen Schools for a very long time.
